Spring break doesn’t have to be all about Florida beaches. In Houston, we do everything big, and that includes the festivities we offer our guests during Spring Break. This year, take a look at what Houston has to offer before finalizing your plans. We believe you may start a new tradition with your friends, one that will last long past your college years. Here are five adult activities to get your break started.

BUFFALO BAYOU BOAT TOURS

Buffalo Bayou offers kayaking, trails and so much more to keep you busy during your spring break days. You can rent a paddle boat or take a bike tour or take a free ninety-minute sail on the Sam Houston as it sails down the Houston Ship Channel. This is one event you will need to book at least a day in advance. Spots are filled quickly.

PLEASURE PIER, KEMAH BOARDWALK, AND THE DOWNTOWN AQUARIUM

Three of Houston’s most popular places have teamed up to provide revelers a special treat only available spring break. Special passes are being sold that allows pass holders access to over thirty attractions in these three places. The passes last a full two weeks. This gives you plenty to do between all your other activities.

VIVID GENTLEMEN’S CLUB

VIVID Gentlemen’s Club hosts special entertainment events and events surrounding major sports on an everyday basis. There is bound to be a night or two you’ll want to top your day off with some adult entertainment with the whole gang. VIVID is one of the best Houston adult clubs and spring break is the best time for adult parties. Enjoy live screenings, sports parties, and special guests you won’t see anywhere else in Houston.

AVENIDA HOUSTON & DISCOVERY GREEN

Right in the middle of downtown, you are in for plenty of free activities set up especially for spring break. Every hour something else is happening. Some of the events planned include a foam party on Waterslide Landing, ice carving, instant snow and roller skating. There will be plenty of fire trucks and construction vehicles on hand for exploration. This area of Houston will be an ever-changing experience throughout the week.

MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS

The Museum of Fine Arts has spring break covered. Special exhibits such as Cuban Art and the Houston Jewish Film Festival are only a beginning. Try your hand at your artwork with watercolor, mixed media or another medium. You may just discover your inner Picasso.
